DESCRIPTION:The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) in partnership with the Compliance Institute\, Nigeria (CIN) will be delivering three webinar workshops on economic sanctions. \nThe three webinars are: \n\nSession 1: Sanctions implementation update. This session would provide an overview of significant developments on sanctions since August 2019\, including (a) new sanctions developments; (b) new trends in sanctions evasion (e.g.\, trends drawn from United Nations Panel of Experts Reports); and (c) compliance “best practices.” This session would consist of a webinar presentation using PowerPoint slides delivered by 3 presenters and would also include time for Q&A.\n\nDate: September 11\, 2020\nTime: 2 p.m – 3:30 p.m (WAT)\nRegistration Link: https://cnas.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_u6XTdYI_TV2nzt_ZETOp6g\n\n\n\n  \n\nSession 2: Panel discussion on cryptocurrency.
